The hemp is used in all our products either by the infusion method or the distillation process. All carrier oils are hemp seed based… but we don’t just leave it at that! Even the carrier oil has been boosted by the inclusion of fresh hemp infused for at least 60 days. Our CBD oil is made by distilling dry hemp in 95% non GMO wheat alcohol. We never use isolates and we do not blast the plant with Co2. We prefer the hands on approach of watching the oil appear drop by drop! It took over a hundred days to grow, so whats the rush?
Yes! Hemp, weed, cannabis, CBD and THC has been all over the news and now everybody knows there’s more to this plant. It has been well hidden whilst the powers that be work out how to tax it and sell it, and bottom line, make a lot of money from it. So meanwhile, we are two women who grow hemp and make affordable healing products. We are not driven by profit, we are passionate about the potential uses of industrial hemp. That’s hemp without THC! So you can’t get high and you can’t overdose! What you can do is feel healthier.
Hemp has a cannabinoid system whilst we have our own endocannabinoid system, and hemp uses the same pathways in the body. We have cannabinoid receptors so that’s a big clue as to how beneficial this plant is to our health. Hemp helps with anxiety and depression, and also reduces pain and inflammation in the body. CBD is a chemical produced by the plant and that is what we are interested in. Once the CBD is in your system the body gratefully recognises the new addition, grabs it and sends it to where it is needed. CBD is extracted from the Hemp and that is what we put in our products. CBD is delivered to the body in many ways. Using our excellent balms and lotions it’s absorbed by the skin. Using our brilliant tinctures and oils you are ingesting it or simply drink a beneficial tea made with our buds.
